Did Jesus Actually Exist?

Yes. No serious historian today denies the existence of Jesus of Nazareth.

Ancient Roman historians like Tacitus and Suetonius, and Jewish historian Josephus, all wrote about Him.
More than that, the New Testament itself—made up of firsthand and early eyewitness accounts—has overwhelming historical support.

Textual critics agree: the Bible is one of the most historically reliable texts in all of ancient literature.

Was Jesus Just a Teacher—Or Something More?

Many respected Jesus for His wisdom. But He made claims no ordinary teacher ever made.
He said:

“I am the bread of life.”
“If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father.”
“Your sins are forgiven.”

That last one caused an uproar. Only God could forgive sins. So Jesus wasn’t just pointing to God—He claimed to beGod.

As C.S. Lewis once wrote:

“A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be insane… or he would be the devil of hell. You must make your choice.”
